Biography
Doug began working with the ICS Program of Study in Fall 2009 and held a variety of positions within the program until Spring 2019. During that time, Doug served as a classroom instructor, Lead Weekend Student Life Advisor, provided direct student supports and was a Career/Internship Instructor. He returned to the program in the Spring of 2024 as a Career/Internship Advisor, working with juniors. Doug is a 1999 graduate of North Carolina State University with a BA in Communication and a minor in English/Journalism. His research interests include exploring inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and building community partnerships with businesses and organizations.
