During the week of March 19-21, the NC Division on Career Development & Transition held their 2025 Transition Conference where our very own AnnaLiv Roberts had the opportunity to share about the ICS program. Her employer, Annie B’s Homemade Ice Cream was honored with the Employer of the Year award at the conference and owners Betsy and Pete Brewer invited Anna to join them in accepting the award. It was a nice representation of how CTP college programs and companies like Annie B’s produce student success when done well. She was one of the first employees to be hired to work at Annie B’s Homemade Ice Cream when they opened in Arden a couple of years ago and she has been with them ever since. She loves to work there during her breaks.
Anna has no fear of public speaking and is a great advocate for herself and other students, as well as the ICS program. Congrats on a job well done, Anna!
